A brief history of the tourist experience in Egypt c. 1910
Hello there! Have you ever wondered what it was like to travel to Egypt during they golden age of travel. In this history slide-lecture, we're going to plan a trip up the Nile. During the course of the 60 minute talk, I'll be sharing information about transportation, lodging, sightseeing, and of course, shopping. Due to the nature of my research, there will be extra focus on my twin loves, dance and assiut.
Included in the price of the talk will be selected reading which will include contemporary information and links to some of my favorite primary sources digitized and available for free on the web.
Live presentation is Wed. Dec. 30, 2020 at 6:00PM Pacific.
