Listing your belly dance business on the Internet

“Making sure that you have a presence everywhere your potential customers might find you is critical to any local marketing plan.”
~ Eric Vreeland, HubSpot

You’ve got a website up and a Facebook page, now what? Don’t stop there. Google yourself. Now, try “belly dance (city you live in)”. If you’re nowhere to be found or your presence is small in the search results, then this class is for you.

When it comes to online marketing, there are three important areas to focus on as a part of your marketing plan: your website/content marketing, your social media presence and your organic reach. This class will help you improve your organic reach by showing you which free (and sometimes paid) websites and online directories you need to be listed on.

What is organic reach?

“Organic search results are listings on search engine results pages that appear because of their relevance to the search terms, as opposed to their being advertisements.” (Source: Wikipedia)

Why is organic reach important? Because when people are searching for belly dance classes or performers, they often use the internet to find what they’re looking for. You want to be found easily and you want your results to stand out above the rest.

This class will help you improve your organic reach, which means it will allow more customers to find you. This class will accomplish that by:

  • Providing you a list of the top 5 online directories you should be listed on
  • Giving you some tips to make your expanded online presence successful

So if you’re not showing up on Google, then it’s time to get listed!

*Please note that this class will be most helpful for those located in the U.S.
